Pooria Kianoush embarked on his academic journey at the Islamic Azad University South Tehran Branch, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering-Exploration in 2003. Building on this foundation, he pursued a Master's degree in Mining Engineering-Exploration, completing it in 2005. Driven by a passion for academic excellence, His further pursued a Ph.D. in Mining Engineering-Mineral Exploration from 2017 to 2023.

Since 2009, His been a valuable member of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), holding the position of Drilling Office/Cementing Supervisor in the Exploration Directorate. His role involves overseeing oilfield cementing operations, contributing significantly to the organization's exploration efforts.

With an extensive background in Petroleum Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geostatistics, Geochemistry, and Hydrogeology, His  made noteworthy contributions to the fields of Seismic Inversion, Geophysical Prospecting, and Cementing Engineering.
