His passion for telecommunications led him to ESMT in Dakar, Senegal, where he completed a Master Professionnel in Réseau et Télécommunications between 2012 and 2014. This foundation set the stage for his further academic advancements. In 2019, he pursued a Master Recherche en Informatique at Université Aube Nouvelle in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, culminating in 2022. Currently, he is a Doctorant en Science et technologie at the same institution, focusing on telecommunications and network systems.

Since 2020, he has served as the Gérant du Cabinet ATIRE in Niamey, where he oversees technical assistance in IT and enterprise networking. His responsibilities include managing service contracts, conducting training sessions, and supervising over 30 student theses. In 2022, he worked as an Assistant IT and Archivage Numérique at CFAO Motors in Niamey, providing technical support, digital archiving, and IT infrastructure management. Earlier in his career, from 2018 to 2019, Omar was a Technicien Réseau Télécom at Virtual Technologies and Solutions (VTS), now known as Kolibri, in Ouagadougou. There, he supervised installation teams, coordinated network maintenance, and conducted site surveys for telecom installations.
