Elsadig Musa Ahmed Mohammed embarked on his academic journey with a keen interest in Development Economics. He completed his Ph.D. thesis, titled "Impact of Air and Water Pollutant Emissions on Malaysia's Manufacturing Sector Productivity Growth," at Universiti Putra Malaysia in December 2004. Prior to this, he earned an M.Sc. in Development Economics in June 1998, focusing on the productivity and performance of the Malaysian Food Manufacturing Industry. His academic foundation also includes a B.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Alazhar, Cairo, Egypt, in June 1992.
