His academic endeavors led him to pursue a Ph.D. at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela (NIT Rourkela), where he was a Research Scholar under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) from January 2012 to December 2015. His research excellence was further recognized through an Erasmus Mundus Research Fellowship at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands for six months.

With 19 years of professional experience, his career encompasses both research and teaching. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Bengaluru. Previously, he held the position of Associate Professor at the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, and GITAM Deemed to be University, Visakhapatnam. His teaching career also includes significant stints at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering for Women, ANITS, P K A College of Engineering, and Silicon Institute of Technology.
