His academic pursuits began with a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the American International University in London (UK), where his global perspective on business and management started to take shape. Dr. Quttainah’s professional career is equally distinguished. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Management in the College of Business Administration at Kuwait University, he has been a vital part of the Management and Marketing Department since 2012. Over the years, he has taken on various roles, including Deputy General Manager of Logistics Services at Agility and Senior Manager in the Investment Department at Kuwait Real Estate Company. His extensive experience also includes working as an Investment Analyst at the Kuwait Investment Authority and as a Senior Analyst at Bayan Investment Company, where he honed his expertise in corporate strategy and investment planning. This blend of academic and corporate experiences enriches his teaching and research endeavors.

Dr. Quttainah’s research spans corporate governance, entrepreneurship, small businesses, and organizational development. His work delves into micro and macro-level corporate governance, theories of the firm, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, among other areas.
