Dr. Udayabhanu began his academic journey with a B.Sc. in Chemistry from University College of Science, Tumakuru, Karnataka, where he secured the 8th rank with an impressive score of 91.91%. He continued his academic pursuits with an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Tumkur University, Tumakuru, Karnataka, securing the 4th rank with a score of 72.9%. Subsequently, he pursued his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumakuru, Karnataka, under the guidance of Prof. G. Nagaraju. His doctoral thesis focused on the 'Synthesis of pure/doped metal oxides and their rGO hybrid nanocomposites: Applications to Photocatalytic and Lithium-ion battery.'

After completing his Ph.D. continued his academic journey as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Research and Innovation (CRI), Adichunchanagiri University, in 2023.
