He continued his education at Bhadrak College under Utkal University, completing his Pre-Professional Science course in 1963, also with First-Class honors. he pursued a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the University College of Engineering, Burla, graduating in 1967 with First-Class honors.

Her academic journey reached its pinnacle with a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development within the framework of Network Governance from NTNU, spanning from 2013 to 2018.
