During her undergraduate studies, she undertook a summer internship project on the overexpression analysis of Armadillo genes in Arabidopsis thaliana at Delhi University-South campus. Currently, she is a Doctoral Researcher in the Functional Genomics Laboratory, Department of Biological Science and Technology, at the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology in Taiwan. In this role, she is engaged in cutting-edge research in the field of functional genomics, contributing to significant advancements in biotechnology. Prior to this, she worked as an Assistant Scientist at Patanjali Research Institute in Haridwar, India. At Patanjali, she was involved in a project on the Patanjali Herbal Compendium within the Herbal Research Department. Her industry experience also includes a TEEPA siaPlus Internship Project on the antibacterial activity of probiotic bacteria from Bene Bac Plus against plant diseases under the supervision of Dr. Douglas J. H. Shyu.

One of her notable projects includes a six-month investigation on the recycling of organic food waste into water under Prof. P.K. Dantu from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra. This focus was highlighted in her poster presentation titled “Integration of Plant Probiotics Microbiome in Disease Resistance: A Sustainable Approach” at The International Conference on Arabidopsis Research (ICAR) in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
