During her undergraduate years, she conducted a groundbreaking MD Thesis on the biomechanical and morphological properties of the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS) with a focus on facial skin, under the supervision of Prof. Har-Shai Y.

Following her internship at Rambam Healthcare Campus in 1997-1998, Her pursued residency in the Plastic Surgery Department at the same institution from 1998 to 2008, working under the leadership of Prof. J. Peled. Concurrently, she pursued a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at the Technion, completing her thesis on cell-cycle regulatory proteins and telomerase in human embryonic stem cells under the guidance of Prof. Karl Skorecki in 2008.
