Beyond sports, he displayed an early inclination towards leadership, serving as the President of the Spanish Federation of Christian University Communities (FECUM). His passion for economics led him to the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), where he pursued a degree and later a Ph.D. in Economic Sciences.
