Dr. Ahmed Sayed Abdel Azeem Asmoay is an accomplished geoscientist specializing in environmental geology, hydro geochemistry, and applied mineralogy. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Geology from Al-Azhar University, focusing on hydrogeochemical studies of water resources and soil characteristics in the western bank of the River Nile. He also holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mineralogy and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology with honors from Al-Azhar University. Ahmed has held progressive research and academic positions at the National Research Centre in Egypt, advancing from fellowship and assistant researcher roles to his current position as Associate Professor. His research encompasses a wide range of topics including groundwater quality assessment, water-rock interaction, heavy metal contamination, soil mineralogy, petrography, and GIS-based mapping. He has contributed significantly to understanding water resource management and environmental risk assessment in arid and semi-arid regions. Ahmed has collaborated extensively on both national and international projects, producing influential work on surface and groundwater evaluation, soil quality, and sediment geochemistry. Ahmed has authored numerous publications in high-impact journals covering hydro geochemistry, mineralogical studies, heavy metal risk assessment, and environmental geochemistry. Mr. Adil Zareef Khan is a motivated and research-oriented professional currently pursuing a PhD in International Trade and Economics at Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan.
