Her journey into the field of bioengineering and biotechnology began with a strong foundation in chemical engineering and biotechnology. She earned her Ph.D. in chemical engineering-biotechnology from Tarbiat Modares University (TMU), Iran, in 2020. Her doctoral research focused on metal recovery from LED waste, which won her accolades for its innovative approach and significant contributions to the field. During her Ph.D., she secured funding from various grants, enabling her to conduct research at Università Politechnica delle Marche, Italy, where she gained insights into sustainable metal bio-recycling..
