She began her academic journey with a strong foundation in physiotherapy, earning her degree from the University of Cadiz, Spain, in 2017. Her passion for improving patient care and outcomes led her to pursue further studies in early childhood care at the University of Seville, where she obtained her master’s degree in 2019. Recognizing the importance of specialized knowledge, she then completed a Master in Neurological Physical Therapy at the University of Cadiz in 2020. Currently, she is a PhD student in Health Sciences at the University of Cadiz, a position she has held since 2020, where she continues to advance her expertise and research in the field.

Her professional career has been marked by her dedication to research and innovation in health sciences. Since October 2020, she has been employed full-time under a predoctoral contract in the Department of Biomedicine, Biotechnology, and Public Health at the University of Cadiz. Her earlier role, from September to October 2020, also involved full-time research in the same department, demonstrating her commitment to continuous professional development and her focus on advancing medical science.

Her research contributions have significantly impacted the field of neurological physical therapy and chronic pain management. Her notable publications include systematic reviews and meta-analyses on mHealth interventions for chronic pain, the impact of physical activity on chronic low back pain, and the effectiveness of different therapies in neurorehabilitation. Her work is frequently published in high-impact journals such as JMIR Mhealth Uhealth, Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine, and Journal of Medical Systems.
