Mr. Adebiyi Adeyanju is a distinguished finance scholar and academician whose career reflects a deep commitment to advancing financial research, education, and economic development within the African and global contexts. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Finance at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, where his research focuses on international financial markets, institutional quality, governance dynamics, and stock market liquidity, particularly within the BRICS economies. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Lagos, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma and Master of Commerce in Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, demonstrating his progressive specialization in financial analysis, corporate governance, and market performance. Mr. Adeyanju’s professional experience includes his current position as a Lecturer at Walter Sisulu University, where he teaches financial management, accounting, auditing, and economics. He previously served as a lecturer at the Durban University of Technology, where he also coordinated teaching and learning activities, developing innovative pedagogical approaches to finance and accounting education. His research interests span corporate finance, financial markets, governance quality, institutional investors, risk management, and public sector finance, reflecting an interdisciplinary approach to understanding emerging market dynamics. Mr. Adeyanju possesses exceptional research and analytical skills, with strong expertise in financial and econometric modeling, data interpretation, and statistical software applications such as SPSS, STATA, and EViews.
