Tamil Nadu agricultural University, Coimbatore, | India
Author Profile
Early Academic Pursuits 🎓
Education and Training
He was born in 1997 and has always exhibited a profound interest in agronomy and agricultural sciences. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Centurion University of Technology and Management in Paralakhemundi, Odisha, where he graduated in 2019 with a remarkable GPA of 9.57. His undergraduate years were marked by a strong focus on organic farming, weed management, and nutrient management. His dedication to his studies was further evident in his Master of Science in Agronomy from the Central Agricultural University in Umiam, Meghalaya, where he graduated in 2021 with a GPA of 8.59. Here, he delved deeper into cropping systems and remote sensing. Currently, Pradosh is pursuing his Ph.D. in Agronomy at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, maintaining an impressive GPA of 9.01 up to the 6th semester.
Professional Endeavors 💼
Academic Positions
he has been serving as the National Secretary (GA) for AIASA since 2016, where he has played a crucial role in team-building activities and promoting the social and cultural welfare of students and members of the association. His professional journey also includes a significant stint as a Trainer for the Agri RPL Project in Odisha from November 2018 to March 2019. Here, he led central government projects across 30 districts to train one lakh farmers, a project initiated by NSDC under the PMKVY scheme. His role involved adapting training plans to meet farmer needs while keeping timelines and objectives in focus. Additionally, he interned as an Agriculturist at CIMMYT in 2017, where he contributed to the Cereal Systems Initiative for South Asia (CSISA) project, focusing on improving maize efficiency and productivity.
