EARLY ACADEMIC PURSUITS
Dr. S N Murthy Boddapati commenced his academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Sir C R Reddy(A) College, affiliated with Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, A.P., where he achieved First Division honors in March 2003. He further pursued his Master's in Organic Chemistry at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, and successfully completed it in April 2006 with First Division honors. His academic excellence laid the foundation for his subsequent achievements and contributions in the field of chemistry.
PROFESSIONAL ENDEAVORS
With a solid academic background, Dr. Boddapati entered the industrial realm, gaining valuable experience as an R&D Chemist in the Synthetic Organic Chemistry division of GVK-BIO Sciences Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, during the period September 2007 to June 2009. Following this industrial stint, he transitioned into academia, starting as a Lecturer at St. Vincent DePaul College, Eluru, from June 2009 to June 2012. Subsequently, he joined Sir C R Reddy College, Eluru, where he served as an Assistant Professor from December 2012 to 2019, contributing significantly to the Department of Chemistry.
CONTRIBUTIONS AND RESEARCH FOCUS ON RESEARCH ON SYNTHETIC ORGANIC CHEMISTRY
Dr. Boddapati's research journey is marked by a decade-long focus on Synthetic Organic Chemistry. His doctoral research, titled "Synthesis of Arylcyanamides, Aryl tetrazole amines, Benzothiazoles, and Benzoxazoles by Copper catalyzed C-N cross coupling strategy," culminated in a Ph.D. awarded by Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, A.P., India, in July 2019. Throughout his academic and research career, he has been prolific, with 25 total publications, 2 patents, and 40 funded projects completed as of February 1, 2023. Noteworthy are his international collaborations, as evidenced by an impressive citation count, an h-index of 8, and an i-10 index of 8.

Recognizing his significant contributions, Dr. Boddapati has received prestigious awards, including the Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan Best Teacher & Researcher Award in 2022 by the International Multidisciplinary Research Foundation. His prowess as a researcher was further acknowledged with the Best Researcher award in 2021 from Sir C R Reddy (A) College, Eluru, and the Global Faculty award in 2020 in AKS Education Awards by AKS Worldwide Pvt. Ltd.

His areas of focus include Heterogeneous Catalysis, New Synthetic Methodologies, Organometallic Chemistry, Cross-Coupling Reactions, and their applications in Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry.
